Jack Dobson
Company Director & Head of Sound
Jack oversees JD Productions and leads the company's sound and technical production work. With hands on experience across live events, theatre, festivals and entertainment, he works closely with clients and production teams from initial planning through to show delivery.
Specialising in live sound and technical production, Jack combines practical production experience with a focus on creating reliable systems tailored to each event.
Tom Jey
Project Manager & Head of Lighting
Tom manages projects for JD Productions and leads the company’s lighting design and production work. With hands on experience across live events, theatre, festivals and entertainment, he works closely with clients and the wider technical team to take productions from initial planning through to show delivery.
Specialising in lighting design, programming and technical production, Tom combines creative ideas with practical experience to deliver professional lighting solutions tailored to each event.
Sam Haddock
LX2 – Lighting Technician
Sam supports JD Productions’ lighting department, working across live events, theatre, festivals and entertainment productions. As LX2, he works alongside the Head of Lighting to assist with the installation, preparation, programming and operation of lighting systems.
With a practical, hands on approach, Sam helps ensure lighting equipment and systems are set up correctly, tested and ready for show, supporting the wider technical team throughout the production from get-in to get-out.
Lewis Carter
Apprentice Technician
Lewis is developing his skills with JD Productions as an Apprentice Technician, gaining hands on experience across sound, lighting, AV and live event production. Working alongside our experienced technicians, he supports the team with equipment preparation, installation, testing and event delivery.
Through practical experience across live events and productions, Lewis is building his technical knowledge while learning every stage of the production process from get-in and setup through to show operation and get-out.
